The DHS Percussion Program believes in a concept of total percussion; all members must be proficient at all percussion instruments. The Percussion Program at Duncan consists of Marching Percussion, Winter Percussion Ensemble, Spring Percussion Ensemble, and private lessons. We also offer technique classes and other percussion classes to our members throughout the year. Also, as part of our program we take field trips to local area percussion ensemble concerts, both at the High School and University Levels.

Each year the Duncan Percussion present two concerts for the public.  The Winter Ensemble presents it's "Holiday Sounds" concert series as a Community Celebration and performs throughout the community and at elementary schools.  In the Spring, we present an annual "Evening of Percussion" concert at the Duncan High School Auditorium.  The DHS Percussion Program has had several students named to Oklahoma All-Region and All-State Bands. We believe in Pride, Dedication, Responsibility, Perfection and Tradition.

Schedule
Spring Percussion Ensemble will begin with a general meeting on February 8th, 2010.  We will perform our third annual "Evening of Percussion" concert on Thursday evening, May 13th at 7:00 pm in the DHS Auditorium.
