Recipe for 3rd Grade at Woodrow Wilson
Welcome to the 3rd grade. The chef for our class is Linda Guest. We have a deliciously busy and exciting 3rd grade year planned learning cursive and whipping up multiplication facts as well as many new math concepts. We blend in a variety of reading and language skills. We stir in information about communities and discover scientific facts. We sprinkle in some art, writing, and computer lab. We fold in some fun, hard work, and bake for nine months. We end up with students ready for the 4th grade.
Parents should:

1) See that homework is completed. This reinforces classroom skills. |

2) Check your Monday Folder. This is our form of communication with parents. |
|
3) Practice the weekly Spelling List that comes out in the Monday Folder. |

4) Work daily on multiplication facts so kids are prepared for the Friday timed test. |
